Exams will have 24 questions. The practice exams are for you to practice- they are not prototypes of the exams you will see during the semester.
How to study for exams: Study the material for knowledge- do not just study how to take a multiple choice exam. Questions may be worded such that
you need to do the process described in class rather than testing the final answers. (i.e. round off errors)
Treat at least one of the exams like a dress rehearsal- take it with a timer and only your pencil and calculator. Then, dig out your notes and the text book.
Grade your exam using your notes and the book. Then look at the solutions and grade your exam again. Go over any questions you may have missed,
using your book and the notes. Then, bring any further unanswered questions to office hours or class.
Reminder: If you are going to miss an exam, fill out the Alternate Exam Request Form and return it to your instructor a minimum of one week prior to the exam.
