Two topics on equiangular tight frames

In this talk, we deal with two topics on equiangular tight frames. The first topic is about constructions for ETFs over quaternions. We use orthogonal designs over quaternions to obtain such ETFs. The second topic is about the recent conjecture about the existence of two ETFs proposed by Xu-Xu-Yu. It is related to tight spherical 5-designs and some algebraic structures such as coherent configurations. This talk is based on joint works with Hadi Kharaghani and Thomas Pender for the first topic, and with Zili Xu and Wei-Hsuan Yu for the second topic.
