(Non-)uniqueness of phase recovery from Gabor and wavelet transform measurements

While frames allow for unique and stable recovery of signals from their frame coefficients, it is less clear what happens when only the magnitudes of the frame coefficients are known. In this talk, we review some recent progress in answering the question of uniqueness of this phase retrieval problem in the setting of Gabor and wavelet frames.
