Tico Time

Believe it or not, I have decided to spend summer 2007 somewhere ex - as in exotic, exciting, experimental, (extreme?)- so here I am in a little apartment in San Jose, Costa Rica. To be precise, I am in San Pedro, which is the burb where Universidad de Costa Rica is located. I am in a quaint and quiet neighborhood a hop and a skip from the bustling and crazy student life, and, of course, from a friendly math department. Thanks to my friend Pedro, who has been instrumental in infinitely many ways to my survival here, I even have an office.

So, between a juicy mango, a buttery and soft avocado, various strolls in the city and hopefully many explorations of the country to come, I am even doing a bit of work, thus relieving my conscience.

On this page (hopefully) I will keep a bunch of photos and comments - as things happen and develop. Hope you enjoy!
