 Office Hours

Instructor Office Hours are held in the Calculus Center, Room 17 of the Weber Building. See the office hour schedule for times.

 Tutoring

Free tutoring is available for this course through the Arts & Sciences Tutoring Program. The program is located in the Russell George Great Hall in The Institute for Learning and Teaching (TILT), and runs 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday-Thursday evenings during the academic year. No appointment is necessary, and all students are welcome. More information and the tutoring schedule is available here. A tutor specifically for Math 155 is there Tuesdays and Thursdays 5-10, but check the schedule also for Math 160 instructors for material not involving discrete-time dynamical systems.

The AAC Program provides tutoring for low-income, first generation or disabled students. 1st Floor Gibbons. Call 491-6129 to apply.

A list of private tutors (who will tutor for payment) is maintained here by the Mathematics Department. Questions about the list may be directed to the Math Department main office, 101 Weber Building.

 Mathematica Demonstrations

Try out Mathematica Demonstrations of Discrete-Time Dynamical Systems. These demonstrations plot iterations and cobweb diagrams of DTDS's as you actively change parameters. To use these demonstrations, you need the free Mathematica Player, which you can download here. The Mathematica Player is also installed on all of the computers on the first floor of the Morgan Library. To use the player in the Morgan Library, you just download any of the Mathematica Demonstrations below, and then double click on the demonstration you have downloaded (no Mathematica Player icon appears in the library computers and Mathematica Player is not in the list of programs on those computers, but the player is installed!).
