Homme libre, toujours tu chériras la mer!
(Charles Baudelaire)

Here you can find a few things I’m interested in.

Math stuff

  • A little MATLAB project about the pension system in Smurfland: Smurfland
  • Matematita, Research Center for the divulgation of Mathematics (mostly based in Milano, Italy)
  • Curvilinea, Italian startup for sharing Math to the broadest public possible

  • Not-Math stuff

Outside the Department schedule, I’m very passionate about singing and sailing.

I’ve been part of the following choirs as alto singer:
  • Schola Gregoriana Mediolanensis in Milano (Italy) under the direction of Giovanni Vianini (2009-2010)
  • Concordia University Choir in Montréal (Canada) under the direction of Jean-Sébastien Allaire (2011-2014)
  • Stella Matutina in Bruxelles (Belgium) under the direction of Erik Trekels (2014-2016)

  • I hold a “Niveau 2 - Croisière” certificate from the Fédération Française de Voile, obtained with the sailing school Les Glénans in July 2016. I am currently training for obtaining the subsequent “Niveau 3 - Croisière” certificate.
Back in Italy, I have a little 470 dinghy that I wish I could use more often...

The picture above was taken in the summer of 2016 in the beautiful bay of Paimpol, Bretagne (France).
