Hey all,

Several of you have emailed me to ask about the homework. After replying to the first couple individually, I realized there was probably general confusion, hence this mass email.

Anyway, first off, there are no problems from section 9.8. Dr. Stovall misspoke when he said there were. Just do the core problems from sections 9.7 and 9.9.

Second, homework will always, unless I tell you otherwise, be due on Friday at noon in my office. That doesn't mean I don't recommend trying to do as many problems as you can before recitation, but I think it's important to have a chance to ask questions in recitation before actually turning the homework in. That having been said, recitation is only as useful as you make it; if you haven't attempted to do the homework, then recitation will probably only be marginally helpful.

Also, please be sure to turn in your homework either to me in person or to the box on the door of my office (DRL 3E3A)...a few of you turned in your homework to my mailbox in the math office, which isn't really a problem, except that I don't check that mailbox very regularly, so if you turn in your homework there, you run the risk of my not picking it up until Monday or Tuesday.

I think that's all for now; as always, if you have any questions, feel free to send me an email.

Clay
