I attended the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh from January 1991 until May 2000 where I obtained a degree in Chemistry, Physics and Secondary Education. I taught the 1999-2000 school year at Appleton Christian High School where I primarily taught Physics and Chemistry. In the summer of 2000 I moved to Colorado to join the graduate program in the Physics department. I graduated in December of 2001 with my master’s degree. I returned to grad school in the fall of 2004 in the Mathematics department to work on my PhD. My research interest is in dynamical systems and I am studying a 2-D anisotropic reaction diffusion system (think liquid crystals, odds are good you are staring at some liquid crystals right now, LCD).
