History of Mathematics builds on each student's knowledge of elementary and advanced mathematics to study the origins of various mathematical concepts, the place of those concepts in the structure of mathematics, and the importance of those concepts in todays mathematics curricula at all educational levels. In reviewing and unifying mathematics, it is a suitable capstone course for mathematics education majors at Colorado State.
