Homeworks
There are suggested homework assignments, but we will not collect homeworks.  To better understand the material and get a good grade on this course, you are suggested to finish all homeworks on time.  I am here to help you.

Quizzes (100 points)
About 12 quizzes are planned for those weeks when there is no an exam.  Most quizzes are on Wednesdays.  Each quiz will be worth 10 points.  There will be no makeup for quizzes.

Three Common Midterm Exams (total 300 points)
We will take the three common exams, 100 points each, along with the other Math 261 sections.
Exam 1:  Thu. 09/17/2009, 5:15pm--7:00pm  Room Engrg 100
Exam 2:  Thu. 10/15/2009, 5:15pm--7:00pm  Room Johnson Hall 222
Exam 3:  Thu. 11/12/2009, 5:15pm--7:00pm  Room Johnson Hall 222
No calculators are allowed for the exams.

Final (200 points)
We will take the common final along with the other Math 261 sections.
Final:  Mon. 12/14/2009, 5:50pm--7:50pm  Room TBA
No calculators are allowed for the final.

A:600-540  B: 539-480  C: 479-420  D: 419-360  F: 359 or below

Makeups
A makeup exam must be approved by Dr. Kelly McArthur,
the course coordinator, and will be scheduled by her.
