ELLAM2d
We are very glad to annouce that now ELLAM (Eulerian-Lagrangian localized adjoint methods) can be implemented on any unstructured meshes (in any dimension), based on chara,
a general-purpose software package for characteristic tracking in unstructured meshes, and FEMlite, a light-weight (but with full flavors) finite element package.  At present, we are preparing documents and they will be available very soon.

ELLAM for simulations of MHD eddy flows
Recently, we have applied ELLAM to solve the convection-diffusion equation arising from the resistive magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) model.  Three benchmark problems are tested.  Please check our recent paper:

A review paper on ELLAM up to Year 2002 can be found here.
