M331 Group Work
The homework assignments in M331
are group assignments. Please arrange times to work with members
of your group outside of class as this will be essential for completing
the assignments. It is permitted to delegate responsibilites in a
group but everyone in a group is responsible for the entire assignment.
Therefore it is critical that each of you read each project and constructively
critique your partners' work to improve the report. All reports must
be typed. If you have questions concerning using LaTeX, a mathematical
text processing system, I am happy to help. Other text processors
are also acceptable, e.g., MSEQUATION.

As much of the work in this class
is group oriented your class attendence is critical. Groups will
often work together during the class. If you fail to contribute to
your group you risk other students the group complaining to me.
Chronic failure to contribute to your group may result in reassignment
or receiving a lower grade than the group. Grades will be assigned
to the group independent of group size. Please discuss any questions
concerning the group with me as soon as possible. Note: in class quizzes
are NOT group oriented. Thus, it is critical you not take a passive
role in your group.
