Mathematical Competition in Modeling FEB 2006

If you like to use your mathematical and computing skills to solve tough problems you may be interested in participating.  Send inquiries to Kirby AT math dot colostate.edu.     The Math department will sponsor and register the teams.

The Mathematical Contest in Modeling will take place at CSU and the actual problems will be downloaded electronically from the competition web site and student teams of 2 or 3 students work over a long weekend to solve one of two problems.  This competition is a big time commitment but a lot of fun.
