The chapter is organized and will be operated for educational and scientific purposes to promote the following:

a. an increased knowledge of and greater interest in the mathematical sciences, including pure and applied mathematics, statistics, education, and their applications;

b. a greater understanding of the contributions of women (and other populations) in the mathematical sciences; and

c. mentoring and encouraging women and girls as they prepare for careers in the mathematical sciences.

Meetings will be informal and held on the last Monday of every month. If you are interested in coming, please come! If you have questions about this student chapter, please contact Jess Ellis Hagman at jess (dot) ellis (at) colostate (dot) edu. The following are the dates for our meetings for Spring 2017.
