A Legendrian knot

In our paper “Legendrian contact homology and nondestabilizability”, David Shea Vela-Vick and I gave the first example of a Legendrian knot which does not have maximal Thurston–Bennequin invariant (among all Legendrian representatives of its knot type), but does have nontrivial Legendrian contact homology. A plat diagram of this Legendrian \(m(10_{161})\) is shown above.
