HW 3 (due Wed., 2/10): Ch. 2/2,4,8 (not the last part, about U(8)),10,20,25,36,39.

HW 4 (due Wed., 2/17): Ch. 3/1 (just Z12, U(10)), 3, 6, 11, 12, 18, 23, 28 (why?), 31, 36. Challenge (1 extra point): 38.

HW 12 (OPTIONAL!!) (due with your final exam): Choose any two problems from 31/1,2,3,7. In addition, there are two questions in 31/10 -- you can do one or two of those for an extra one or two points. All told, you can earn at most four extra points for your homework score with these problems.
