This semester, we'll be hearing lectures from a half-dozen guests. Pick one of these to write about.

The idea is to explain something you learned from the lecture, such as: the subject and methods of a particular area of mathematics; an open question or conjecture; a connection between math and some other discipline; or an intriguing result.

Your paper should be 2-3 standard-sized pages. Like any other paper you write at Colorado State, it should be typed (i.e., not handwritten), exhibit flawless grammar and spelling, and follow the usual conventions for paragraph structure. Avoid plagiarism!
