Abstract

Every minute nearly 300 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube. The massive scale of YouTube data is difficult to understand without having experienced it. In this talk I will present some of the video analysis we do, paying special attention to issues that come up because of the massive scale. Three different projects neatly showcase the difficulties we deal with on a daily basis. Automatic content based tag suggestion, fast object recognition of large numbers of object types, and generalized Neural Network infrastructure challenges.
