Mathematics Feature Story

The Department of Mathematics would like to take this time to honor our colleague and friend, long time Mathematics Professor Richard (Dick) J. Painter, who passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013. Dick touched the lives of many students and faculty in the department. Until recently, he actively participated in teaching and mentoring students as Professor Emeritus. After 50 years of service to CSU (1963-2013), Dick's positive spirit and dedication will be missed by many.
