Dr. Olivier Pinaud joins the Department of Mathematics

Dr. Olivier Pinaud joined the Department of Mathematics as a tenure track Assistant Professor. Dr. Pinaud received his PhD in Mathematics from the University Paul Sabatier at Toulouse, France, in 2003, and his habilitation from the University of Lyon, France, in 2010. Dr. Pinaud has been an assistant professor at the University of Lyon since 2006, and was a postdoc at Columbia University in 2003-2005. He was a visiting assistant professor at Columbia University in 2010-2011, and at Stanford University in 2011-2012. Dr. Pinaud's research interests are in Partial Differential Equations, in particular waves in random media and quantum transport.

Dr. Pinaud's family includes his wife Brooke. Stop by his office in 214 Weber to welcome him and his family to the CSU campus and the Fort Collins community.
