PROBE EXAMINATION
All registered students take this challenging written examination beginning at 9:45am in the Main Ballroom of the Lory Student Center. Students should not feel badly if they get stuck on some of these problems. The exam is designed to challend the best math students in the state!
TEAM COMPETITION
At 11:20am attention shifts to the small rooms on the second floor of the Lory Student Center as the 3-member teams compete in separate tournaments representing large and small schools. Whiteboards with the competition grids will be maintained in the lobby across from theregistration booth. This allows both teachers and students to keep track of their school's progress in the TEAM competitions.
LUNCH
Lunch is on your own, as your schedule permits. Lory Student Center offers a number of dining choices. In addition there are a wide variety of choices adjacent to campus including Panhandler's Pizza, Woody's Pizza, Wendy's CB&Potts, Yum Yum, Jim's Wings, Hot Wok Cafe, MacDonald's, Sonic, Bluebird Cafe, Rainbow Cafe, Pickle Barrel, and Chipotle.

For students participating in the TEAM competition, we recommend lunch during one of the 20 minute off-periods during the early rounds of competition, as there are no off-periods for winners in the rounds after 1:00pm.
REGISTRATION
The registration desk for Math Day participants will be located in the Lory Student Center, in second floor lobby. Even if you pre-register, you MUST check in at our registration table. Paid status will be checked at this time for all schools participating this year. The enclosed blue opscan sheets should be completed in advance by your students. These need to be turned in at the time of registration. Lastly, please have students fill out the enclosed nametags with their registration name. These should be worn during all competition events.
PARKING
Remember: Visitor parking permits will now cost $1.50 each. These parking permits will be available at the Registration booth on the second floor of the Lory Student Center. You will need to plan for some additional time, and for someone to remain with your vehicle, while you purchase your permit.
GOOD LUCK
Finally, be prepared for another year of tough, head-to-head competition with some of the other top high school math students from around the state. The CSU Department of mathematics is looking forward to another exciting Math Day!
