Bus Parking for 2008

Back to Math Day Homepage

The following are two options available for schools needing to park a bus during Math Day. Please remember that as of 2003 the parking lot west of Moby Gym was converted to permit parking - so school busses must park at one of the locations described below.

1. CSU Equine Center, located on Overland Trail - two miles WEST of Campus.

Drivers can drop passengers at the Lory Student Center, northern bus stop, located in the parking lot just north of the Student Center. Drivers can then re-access Laurel Street and head west to Shields Street. Turn left on Sheilds, south to Elizabeth, right on Elizabeth, west to Overland Trail. Turn right onto Overland Trial and go north to the next immediate left. Turn left off Overland Trail
into the Equine Center Parking Lot.
2. Fort Collins Hilton (formerly University Holiday Inn) south of campus on Prospect Street.
This hotel has a large graveled parking lot south of the hotel that busses are allowed to park in, but I’ve been told that lot fills up fairly early with cars. After off-loading passengers, the drivers would go back to Laurel Street, turn left, go west to Shields Street, turn left, go south to Prospect Street, turn left and go about ¾ of a mile. The Holiday Inn is on the south side of Prospect. Access to the gravel parking lot is from the street on the west side of the Holiday Inn, so turn at the stop light at the Holiday Inn and head south.
