TITLE:    An introduction to tropical mathematics with a view toward 
          biology

ABSTRACT: In this talks (Following math.CO/0408099 and math.AG/0306366) 
I will touch the main aspects of tropical mathematics: min-plus 
algebras, tropical polynomials, tropical curves. Then I will treat the
concepts of tropical linear spaces and three-term Grassmannians and I
will show how they are related to some problems in enumerative biology.
During this talk I will also introduce some recent research open
problems.
